Forever inspired by ephemeral art forms and processes that encourage collaboration, I adore the nature of wheatpasted mural installations. I use a collaging technique, never really knowing what the final composition will be until all the pieces are on its wall. The surface and community informs the final product, and the weather and public determine how long it will last. This makes the art form perfect for community collaborative art and social justice campaigns. I use permanent markers on blank newsprint paper with biodegradable homemade wheatpaste
